TechCrunch, a tech news site owned by AOL, said Thursday it will be removing the facial cleansers from its store.

The company also said it was working with the FBI to help police track down the suspect.

The facial cleansering product, called Cleansing Foam, has been in use since 2011 and has been linked to the disappearance of two people in San Francisco.

The product was sold by in a limited edition of 2,000 units for $25, according to a post on the company’s blog.

The FBI has not announced a suspect or a motive for the disappearances.

TechCrunch also said Thursday that it would be removing facial wipes from its website and other products from the company.

The move comes as technology companies, including Amazon and Apple, are working to crack down on cyberattacks and other forms of malware.
